Yep, Andrew is now a P plater. I was so happy on Friday when he rang me.... this has almost made my year! For those people out there who have children and have to Ferry them everywhere... thats what things were like for me and Andrew - I drove him everywhere.
Having his licence means that he can drive himself to work at night, drive himself to cricket, and to cricket training, start indoor cricket again...oh the list is almost endless!!!
And his car is all fixed, so he can happily cruise around now, and do his own thing.
Weekend was good - slept in Saturday, then went to Andrew's dad's, then went to see Jimmy Barnes at Thebarton Theatre. We had the best night, the concert was awesome, and I just loved seeing Jimmy again. Its been years since I've seen him in and enclosed venue...and me ears are still ringing!! It was awesome!!!
Sunday was spent weeding, and cleaning the house. Mum and dad came for dinner which was nice. All in all it was a good weekend. Andrew is now licenced to drive!!!

I really feel for parents who are constantly ferrying around kids. I work with a lady who is a single Mum to 4 kids and she spends her whole weekend driving them around to sports, etc.
CONGRATULATIONS!!! Hey, well done to Andrew! And man, what a relief to you. Nothing against Andrew, but it must be great for you.
And for him. I bet he hated having to rely on you for everything too, being a man and all. Now he has his independance and I bet he feels really great.
