Life has been quiet the past few days... not much going on. Was feeling rather overwhelmed with everything that is happening with work yesterday, so was almost teary last night - but managed to hold off..... I'll be so glad once the move is done, we're in the new place, and work continues as normal.
Eating is disgustingly bad - I just don't seem to care about it... and I don't know why. The control thing just does not exist.... and I'm not sure why I can't get that back. At the moment I KNOW i'm eating for comfort - but I just can't help myself..... or don't want to help myself.
I can't even really be bothered to go to the gym at the moment - feeling so slack.
So, not sure what to do about it..... I know what I want to do, but putting that all into action is a different matter.
WALK, THEN PLACEMATS AGAIN...

Honestly....Just relax about the food and Gym for the moment until you feel better about everything else.
Once everything else is settled, you may feel like getting back into the Gym, etc but don't put pressure on yourself now.
Life is way to short to waste time feeling bad/guilty about food and exercise. I was feeling like this a few months back and once I gave myself the "permission" to eat what I wanted and do whatever I felt like, I find I tend to choose the healthy options more often. As soon as I am really restrictive or think too much about food, I binge like crazy!!!

Miss Pinky is right. Relax. Don't even think diet, and you will find yourself choosing healthier option.
Instead of the Gym, go for a walk around your new neighbourhood. You will be surprised at how long you are walking for, looking at everything new. Before you know it, you have done half an hour or more.
And after dinner, make yourself a plate of treats, like a couple of plain biscuits, a piece of fruit, and some rice crackers. Then curl up on the couch with a big drink of lite cordial or diet soda, and nibble slowly.
You will be fine if you stop thinking diet. It's the guilt thing that does it hon.
Keep the chin up and if you want to cry, do it. It's a great stress relief!
