So another year gone, and another Christmas to celebrate...
Its been a big year for me. Bought and moved house, moved a business, promoted to General Manager, and completed 2 uni subjects!!
I still can't believe we have been at out house for 9 months... time has flown really quickly. We are planning to paint the hallway next week.. yet another change to be done. I just can't wait until I can re-do the kitchen...still saving very hard for that. Hoping by next Xmas I'll be able to start choosing all my new kitchen!!!
Not really wanting to celebrate chrissy this year, cause xmas dinner was supposed to be at our house tonight, and then my dad decided that I didn't have time to organise anything, so he decided that dinner waas going to be at their house instead. I was not impressed, in fact I was very very pissed off. So I'm not very happy about Chrissy this year. I've been trying to convince Andrew I am sick.... then I don't have to go!!!
BUT I shouldn't be so negative - I Don't know how long my mum is going to be around, so I should enjoy Chrissy with her this year.
So, to all my blog readers (all 4 of you!) I wish you a very merry Christmas and a very happy new year. May you have days of enjoyable celebrations, yummy food, and a 2009 full of happiness and fun experiences.

Last week of work
I will be in and out of the office a few times over the 2 weeks, but mostly I will be at home doing stuff....like pulling out the forest of weeds we have, or digging out the Geraniums, or relaxing.
Had a nice BBQ with some friends on the weekend which I really enjoyed. It was only a small mix of mine and Andrew's friends, but was certainly a good night.
I did all the Christmas shopping for my staff yesterday which was good... lots of nice pressies for them all, and also some yummy food for my boss which I'll expect he'll enjoy.
Food was average on the weekend - a few treats here and there - I certainly could have done worse than I did, so all in all I was happy.
I'll just be glad when this week is over!!!

Its been a long week
This week seems to have dragged on a bit. I had Xmas drinks with my industry association on Tuesday, and then another Christmas party last night - and I feel like I am lacking in sleep. Feeling tired and have a blocked nose today. But we went on a boat last night for the Xmas party along the Glenelg foreshore and that was really nice. A bit windy, but still nice.
I think tonight will be an early night. Andrew has finished work for the year, and is officially on holidays. I have one more week to go, and then I am done.
And the coffee we have at work is very very mild... not even a decent kick to it... so will be looking forward to something new soon that will make me feel more alive!!
Anyways, onward and onto some work.

From bad to worse...
So I lost the plot yesterday, and went on an eating spree... and not in a good way!! Not sure why it happened, but it did and now I must move on.
Didn't weigh in today, and don't plan to until next week.
I am ready to strangle the dog next door - it decided that at midnight that it wanted to go on a barking spree just for the hell of it. It woke me up, and then kept me awake for about an hour.... The reason it is so bad is that the barking echo's underneath our carport, and makes it very loud. I was very very close to bashing on her door, and telling her to shut it up....but thankfully I managed to calm myself down and fall back asleep.
Then I woke up to cat yowling this morning... the same neighbour does not keep her cats in at night time, and they come to my windows and antagonise my cats, so the howling, and growling begins. Very frustrating!
So like yesterday I am tired again... and I have to go to Christmas drinks tonight... Its gonna be a long day.

Oh so tired!!
Feeling really tired today - but not sure why as I had a relaxing weekend. Didn't do too much, but did manage to give the house a tidy up.
Food was SHOCKING on the weekend. I had a special pig out yesterday, but I am back on track today. Ihave been getting abck inot a few old habits, so I need to start culling them ASAP.
Only 2 weeks of work left - then 2 weeks holiday!! HOORAY!!
Big boss is on China for 2 weeks, so I am running the show. Hopefully everything will run smoothly.

PPPHHHHEEEEEWWWWWWWWW!
Life is running at a lower rate of knots now. Feeling much better after my exam. I think I passed it...fingers crossed!!
Work has been busy, and food management has been very very average - but I had a stay the same this week which I was more than happy about, considering the things I had been eating!!
So, back on tarck now, and trying to keep the food much better. I'm still very very tired and am looking forward to sleeping in tomorrow morning. I might even leave work earlier today so I can go for a walk.
Our neighbour across the street seem to be competing with Christmas lights!!! The 2 houses are side by side, and they have so many lights up!! One of them has a Santa that is popping out of a chimney!! I will try to take a photo tonight and post it. I have not lived somewhere that does the christmas lights to such an extent, so its actually a fun thing to watch.
Finally Friday! WOOOOHOOO !!

stressing out
So, I think by about 8pm tonight, I will be officially stressed to the max. Exam revision is going so so. I have learnt 4 topics in a week, and think i have the gist of them. I have 2 topics to sort out tonight, and then I'll be right.
I am terrible when it comes to keep on track with uni stuff. I have done so badly this semester. BUT I have found out that I have to get greater than 50% overall to pass the subject, so if I get at least 40 to 50% of the exam right, then I should be fine.
I am hanging for tomorrow to be over. Then I will be lost for something to do.
Thinking about doing a pottery course soon.... I need to do something crafty causeI'm starting to lose touch with it.
So things to be done over the next 6 months:
- Pottery course
- Make a new mosiac for the garden
- Finish off a wall hanging I have had for 4 years
- Tidy Study (this is a BIG job)
- Paint hallway
- Paint study
And of course keep on top of things at work..... But I see the light at the end of the tunnel!!!!
